James Geall

James Geall is an experienced technology leader with a focus on Distributed Systems and Event Sourcing. As the Founder, VP Engineering, and Chief Architect at PowerModels™ since February 2023, James leads the development team to ensure successful project delivery. James has held multiple director roles at Aardware B.V., Aardware Holding BV, and Aardware Ltd since September 2022 and February 2005, respectively. Previous positions include Chief Architect, Head of Support, and Vice President of Engineering at Event Store from August 2015 to November 2022, as well as consulting roles at BGL Group and Solidsoft, where James provided systems architecture guidance and technical expertise. James also has experience working with Capgemini, both as a ScrumMaster and Team Member, and contributed to Pensions First as a Developer. Education was completed at Brockenhurst College from 1994 to 1998.
