Brett Peterson

Brett Peterson has over 8 years of professional experience in product management, consulting, and founding startups. In 2022, they began their role as Chief Operating Officer at PowerNotes. Brett also began working at Manifold as a Senior Product Manager, where they were responsible for leading, hiring, and training the product management team. From 2019 to 2021, they were the Founder and CEO of Venture Ingredients, where they created a strategy for expansion into the space industry and presented at and won the 2021 New Space Business Plan Competition. Brett was also the Principal Consultant and Global Agile Practices Lead at Daugherty Business Solutions, and the Product Owner at Maritz Motivation Solutions. In 2017, they founded ZigZag Models as a Product Manager. From 2016 to 2017, they were the Product Manager for North America at AFB International, where they delivered $1 million USD in annual incremental operating income in the North American product portfolio and increased margin by 2 percentage points. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Design Specialist at Ricoh Americas Corporation. From 2013 to 2015, they were the Founder and Product Manager at Sphere Manufacturing, where they identified a market opportunity and recruited ten distributors. From 2012 to 2013, they were the Cofounder and Product Manager at Mimic Miniatures, where they generated 300% ROI in six months.

Brett Peterson obtained a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Brigham Young University between 2009 and 2011. Brett has also obtained a SAFe Program Consultant certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in August 2019, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Project Management Institute in March 2016, a Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance in May 2016, and a CDIA+ certification from CompTIA. Brett is currently enrolled in the University of Cambridge.
