Wilson Tsu has held a variety of roles in their career. Wilson began as a Project Manager at IBM Corp. in 1998. In 2006, they volunteered at Chicago Public Schools and also worked as a Legal Intern at the Federal Defender Program. From 2008 to 2011, they were an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, followed by their role as President and COO of HEVT, Inc. from 2011 to 2012. Wilson then founded LearnLeo.com in 2012 and founded PowerNotes in 2017.

Wilson Tsu obtained their JD from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and their MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management between 2005 and 2008. Wilson then obtained their Master of Engineering (MEng) from Cornell University in 1997 and 1998. Wilson completed their BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University between 1993 and 1997.
