Reed Herzig is a Senior Product Development Manager with extensive experience in analytical chemistry and product characterization. They hold a BS in Chemistry from Emporia State University and a BGS in Biology from the University of Kansas. With over 30 years in the industry, Reed spent 23 years at Bayer/Monsanto working in various roles, including Senior Scientist, where they managed projects in support of breeding and commercial organizations. Reed serves as the 2020 Chair of the Iowa Biotechnology Association Board and as Secretary of the Iowa Biodiesel Board, contributing significantly to industry sustainability and advocacy efforts. Currently, they provide consulting services in the food grade corn and renewable fuels markets.
