Michael Dunlap has extensive work experience in financial planning and analysis. Michael started their career at Investors Bank & Trust in 1994 as a Custody Accountant and eventually became a Senior Custody Accountant. Michael then worked as an Account Supervisor at Investors Bank & Trust from 1997 to 1999. In 2001, they joined Sears, Roebuck and Co. as a Senior Financial Analyst, where they provided financial guidance to business managers. In 2003, they moved to Valassis as a Senior Financial Analyst and later took on roles as Manager of Financial Analysis, Manager of Financial Reporting & Analysis, Senior Manager of FP&A, and Director of Sales Compensation and Reporting. From 2009 to 2015, they served as the Director of Segment Financial Planning & Analysis at Valassis, managing a team of seven associates and leading the company's forecasting and budgeting processes. Since 2017, Michael has been working as the Director of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis at PowerSecure, Inc., where they lead the corporate FP&A team and provides analysis and guidance on financial performance.
Michael Dunlap completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Bates College from 1991 to 1994. Michael then pursued further education and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 1999 to 2001.
