David Naismith

David Naismith is an accomplished entrepreneur and financial executive with extensive experience in the energy and gaming sectors. Currently serving as the Founder and CEO of PowerSync Technologies since August 2022, Naismith leads the development of a digital marketplace focused on optimizing returns for business generation assets and load flexibility through patent-pending technology. Previously, Naismith co-founded Solgen Energy Group in June 2008, transforming it into Australia's largest solar power project developer and establishing a significant solar product distribution business. Naismith's earlier roles include CFO at World Gaming PLC, Group Financial Controller and Finance Director for US Regions at Sportingbet PLC, and Manager of Audit/Corporate Advisory at BDO. Naismith holds an MBA from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, a Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Bond University.
