Powertrust

We are unlocking a new sector of green energy procurement for corporate organizations to decarbonize their business, by aggregating small renewable projects, which deliver an impact that is transformative, faster and fairer. We believe small is powerful.  Small renewable projects, more agile and flexible, work well in emerging markets where the climate and social impacts are greatest. However, barriers and boundaries currently stop corporations from investing in this distributed energy sector.  Our model removes these barriers through our proprietary platform, by offering accountable, traceable and transparent access to aggregated small renewable projects in the Global South. Using recognized procurement and certification processes, we have created a unique and innovative way for corporate organizations to decarbonize their global footprint whilst bringing finance to renewable projects in emerging markets. High Impact Renewable energy built in emerging markets can have 3-6 times the climate impact of a traditional Power Purchase Agreement in North America or Europe.  By investing in these projects, corporate climate leaders can not only meet their own climate goals, but can also help the Global South to leapfrog energy technologies and move straight to clean energy.  Powertrust is a team of climate pioneers with over 40 years combined experience working in developing, financing, and operating renewable energy projects globally in both emerging countries and developed markets. We are passionate about building a bridge between both.
