Carson Roy

Carson Roy is currently the Head of School at Powhatan School, a role held since 2024. Previously, they served as the Director of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid at The Potomac School from 2016 to 2024. Carson's extensive experience in admissions includes positions as Director of Middle and Upper School Admissions at Ethical Culture Fieldston School, Director of Admission and Financial Aid at Pomfret School, and Assistant Director of Admissions at Williston Northampton School. They began their career as a History and Leadership Teacher and Assistant Director of Admissions at Suffield Academy. Carson earned a BA in History/Education from St. Lawrence University and a MA in Private School Leadership from Teachers College of Columbia University.
