Benjamin Ross

Benjamin Ross has a diverse work experience. Benjamin is currently the Founder of BlueSky Apps, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to that, they founded POWR in 2014, a company that offers customizable online solutions for businesses and was acquired by Pluribus Technologies in 2021. Benjamin also co-founded Lucira Health in 2010, which develops point-of-care diagnostic tests and achieved FDA clearance for an at-home COVID test. Lucira had an IPO in 2021.

Before entering the business world, Benjamin worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Student Researcher at UC Berkeley from 2007 to 2012 and from 2007 to 2011, respectively. Benjamin also served as a Graduate Student Researcher at Penn State University in 2006.

Benjamin Ross completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering Science and Mechanics at Penn State University from 2002 to 2006. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Engineering Science at Penn State University, completing it in the year 2007. Benjamin furthered their education by pursuing a PhD in Engineering, Management of Technology at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2007 to 2010.
