Daniel Puschmann

Daniel Puschmann is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and data services. Currently serving as a Senior Backend Engineer at POWSTER since July 2022, Daniel has previously held roles as a Data Services Engineer at District Technologies and IoT Technologist at Digital Catapult. Daniel contributed to significant projects, including the TIHM for dementia project, focusing on statistical and machine learning techniques for patient safety, and leading work packages in the CityPulse project to develop smart city applications leveraging IoT data. Daniel’s academic background includes a PhD in Electronic Engineering from the University of Surrey and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universität des Saarlandes, complemented by multiple roles in research and laboratory demonstrations in various institutions.
