Sven Hoffmann

Sven Hoffmann has worked in a variety of roles since 2005. In 2005, they were a Software Developer for Aladdin, where they developed Mac software components for their Software DRM solutions and a C# .net GUI application. In 2008, they were the Lead Developer/Architect at plastr media ltd., where they developed an immersive, multi-user, real time media and content sharing application and managed and participated in the complete product development cycle from prototype to product launch. In 2009, they were the Team Leader Web Systems at TradeNetworks and the Co-founder/Client Technologies at Weeeve. In 2010, they worked as an Independent Software Consultant, where they planned, designed and developed quality web and desktop applications for a number of clients. In 2011, they were a Flex Expert at Tikal Knowledge, Ltd. Finally, from 2012 to present, they have been the CTO at PowToon Ltd, where they have combined software engineering, voodoo and UX design to bring their next level video and presentation software from the whiteboard to the market in 6 months.

Sven Hoffmann began their education in 1998 at the University of Applied Science Berlin, where they obtained a Diplom in Computer Science (Media Informatics). Sven also attended Humboldt-University Berlin from 1998 to 2003, studying Physics, Sven'story, Languages, and Philosophy. In 1999, they enrolled at the University of Lapland, Faculty of Art, to study Media Arts/Photography. Sven completed their studies in 2004. In 2014, Hoffmann resumed their education at Tel Aviv University, where they obtained a Master in Cognitive Language Studies in 2019.
