Andrew Schmidt

Andrew Schmidt is an experienced clinical research professional with a diverse background in clinical monitoring and site management. Currently serving as a Clinical Team Manager at PPD since October 2014, Andrew has held various roles including Principal Clinical Research Associate and Senior Clinical Research Associate, overseeing the clinical monitoring process and ensuring compliance with GCPs and global SOPs. Previous experience includes positions at Quintiles as Clinical Research Associate II and In-House Clinical Research Associate, where site management and monitoring were key responsibilities. Andrew's early career also includes roles as a Clinical Research Coordinator at North State Clinical Research and various internships that contributed to skills in patient interaction and data collection. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an EMT-B certification from Davidson County Community College.
