Becky Carmean

Becky Carmean is currently the Associate Director at ThermoFisher Scientific, where they continue to contribute to the field of microbiology and immunology. They obtained a Ph.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2006 and began their career at PPD the same year, engaging in the development and analysis of ELISA and cell-based assays. Over the years, Becky has held various roles, including Manager and Senior Group Leader, where they demonstrated expertise in managing direct reports, maintaining project budgets, and ensuring compliance with laboratory standards. With a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Washington College, Becky has built a strong foundation for a successful career in scientific research and development.
