Carol Ann Olson is a seasoned professional in pharmaceutical development with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Senior Medical Consultant and Senior Vice President, Head of Medical Science & Strategy at PPD, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, Carol Ann Olson specializes in Anti-Infective development strategies and provides expertise in medical, scientific, and product development to PPD clients. Previous roles include Senior Vice President, Head of Global Product Development at PPD, and significant positions at Immtech Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Abbott Labs, and Sapphire Oak Consultants, LLC. Carol Ann Olson holds a PhD and MD from The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and a BA in Biology and Chemistry from Concordia College.
