David Trower

David Trower serves as the Senior Director of Privacy at Thermo Fisher Scientific since December 2021, having previously held the position of Vice President of Global Privacy at PPD since March 2010. Trower also worked as the Chief Privacy Officer for EMEA at IMS Health from September 2001 to March 2010, and as a Data Protection Compliance Manager at UUNET from October 2000 to September 2001. Early in his career, Trower was the Strategic Policy Manager at the Information Commissioner's Office from April 1998 to October 2000. Trower holds a PGCE in Education from Manchester Metropolitan University, an MA in European Politics from the University of Manchester, and a BA in Politics from the University of Nottingham.
