Diliam Caldera

Diliam Caldera is the Director of Clinical Operations for Regional Operational Delivery at PPD, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, where they lead clinical operations with a focus on implementation and monitoring of clinical trials. With extensive experience as a Principal CRA and independent consultant, Diliam has coached and trained clinical personnel in various aspects of clinical trials, emphasizing GCP compliance and the use of Clinical Trial Management Systems. Diliam's career includes significant roles at Merck, R&DP, and Empresas Polar, contributing to the development of innovative methodologies in molecular biology and clinical research. They have earned a Licenciate degree in Biology and additional qualifications in molecular biology techniques from the Universidad Central de Venezuela.
