Gerald Maquera

Gerald Maquera is an experienced quality assurance professional with a comprehensive background in the pharmaceutical and medical industries. Currently serving as the Director of Quality Assurance at Thermo Fisher Scientific since December 2021, Gerald brings extensive expertise from PPD, where roles included Director of Quality Assurance, Associate Director of Quality, and various management positions over a 17-year tenure. Responsibilities included overseeing quality assurance audits, managing audit staff, conducting internal audits, and serving as the primary contact for client audits and regulatory inspections. Previous experience includes quality assurance roles at Solopak Medical Products and Wesley-Jessen Corporation. Gerald holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Southern Adventist University and an Associate of Science in Chemistry from UW-Milwaukee at Waukesha.
