Heather Herman

Heather Herman, M.S., is a Senior Scientist at PPD, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, where they develop and validate methods for pharmacokinetic, immunogenicity, biomarker, and enzyme activity ligand binding assays. They previously served as a Research Medical Lab Technician at Virginia Commonwealth University, conducting experiments to analyze the effects of opiates on neuroAIDS in mice. Heather has also held various positions, including Research Associate II at Xencor and Laboratory and Research Specialist Senior at the University of Virginia, focusing on infectious disease models and antibody therapeutics. They earned a B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.S. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Virginia Commonwealth University.
