John Carmen is a dynamic science educator with extensive experience in academia and project management. As an Assistant Professor at Big Sandy Community and Technical College and previously at Northern Kentucky University and Aurora University, John has taught a variety of biology courses using student-centered techniques. Research experience includes a position as a Research Associate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where John investigated regulatory mechanisms in Blastomyces dermatitidis, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Kentucky, focusing on Toxoplasma gondii. In recent roles, John served as Associate Project Manager and Project Manager at PPD.
