KATE McKeown

Kate McKeown is the Biotech Portfolio Lead at PPD, where they oversee the delivery of critical programs within regulatory, commercial, and financial boundaries. With extensive experience in leadership roles across various pharmaceutical and biotech organizations, Kate has previously served as Director of Project Management at Aimmune Therapeutics and Head of Clinical Operations at both Aimmune and 30 TECHNOLOGY. They were also a Senior Director of Clinical Operations at Intercept Pharmaceuticals and worked as a Freelance Clinical Research Consultant for over a decade. Kate holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Renal Physiology and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Animal Biology, both from the University of Birmingham.
