Mariana Burin

Mariana Burin is currently the Medical Director at PPD, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, a position held since the acquisition of PPD in December 2021. Previously, they served as an Associate Professor at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul from 2019 to 2021 and worked as a Hematologist at HCPA - Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre from 2014 to 2021. Mariana holds an MD from UFCSPA and has completed multiple residency programs in Internal Medicine, Hematology, Bone Marrow Transplant, and a Master's degree as a Medical Scientist at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
