Mark Baird

Mark Baird is a seasoned pharmacokineticist who has been working in the field since 2003. Currently serving as the Director of Clinical Pharmacology at PPD, they manage a Clinical Pharmacology team in the UK, specializing in PK/PD study design, analysis, interpretation, and reporting across all stages of clinical development. Previously, Mark held key positions in pharmacokinetics at organizations such as Aptuit, Quanticate, AAIPharma Services Corp., and Quintiles, contributing to drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. They earned a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from The University of Edinburgh in 2002.
