R. Paul Harrell

R. Paul Harrell is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Associate Counsel - Contracts at PPD since August 2018, with a background in contract management and specialist roles within the organization. Previously, Harrell was a Magistrate Judge at the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts, where responsibilities included reviewing law enforcement charges and determining probable cause for arrest. Prior experience also includes serving as an Equal Employment Opportunity Officer for the North Carolina Department of Environmental and Natural Resources, providing counsel on employment laws and conducting investigations. Harrell holds a Juris Doctor from Campbell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
