Rachael Eckert

Rachael Eckert is the Director of Medical Writing at PPD, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, a position they have held since the acquisition of PPD in December 2021. Previously, Rachael worked as a Program Manager and Senior Program Manager at PPD, where they managed large portfolios of medical writing deliverables and oversaw submission projects. Their expertise includes regulatory and scientific writing, particularly for IND and NDA applications. Earlier in their career, Rachael was a part-time relief veterinarian at a small animal veterinary hospital. Rachael holds a DVM and a PhD in Immunology from North Carolina State University.
