Ross Kelly

Ross Kelly has diverse professional experience that spans from the service industry to advanced scientific research. Ross began as a waiter at Dolce Vita of Manassas from April 2012 to November 2016, where responsibilities included serving food, processing orders, and general customer service. Ross then officiated youth lacrosse as a referee with the Washington Area Lacrosse Officials Association from April 2013 to June 2017. An instructor role at Vertical Rock Climber Center followed, focusing on belaying and instructing novice climbers in late 2014. Transitioning into scientific roles, Ross served as a Research Scientist at Ceres Nanosciences, Inc. from May 2016 to April 2023, specializing in protein and nucleic acid sample preparation and the development of new immunoassays. Currently, Ross is employed as a Senior Scientist at PPD, starting in May 2023. Ross holds a B.S. in Physics from the University of Mary Washington and an Advanced Studies Diploma in Biotechnology from Osbourn Park High School.
