Roy Ward is the Director of Biostatistics at PPD, a position held since 2015, where they lead the Bios Business Segment for Growth Accounts within the Biopharma pillar. Previously, Roy worked at Novartis from 2011 to 2013 as a Project Lead in statistics and programming for MS studies, and as the Global Head of Statistical Reporting for Cardiovascular Metabolism. Earlier in their career, Roy served as a Technical Support Consultant at SAS and a Contract Programmer at Roche. They hold a Master of Science in Statistics with Applications in Medicine from Southampton University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Statistics from Sheffield Hallam University.
