Sharon Ying

Sharon Ying, MBA, BSN, RN, currently serves as the Associate Director of Operations at Thermo Fisher Scientific since December 2021, following the acquisition of PPD, where Sharon has been an Associate Director of Operations since September 2012. In this role, Sharon oversees project operations, mentors team members, and ensures compliance with corporate policies and contractual agreements. Previous positions include Operations Manager and various nursing roles at PPD and WakeMed, with a focus on quality improvement and patient care in medical and surgical settings. Sharon earned an Executive MBA in International Business from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, along with an Associate of Science in Nursing from Durham Technical Community College.
