William Crafford

William Crafford is currently the Medical Director at PPD, overseeing clinical trial safety in Pharmacovigilance since joining the company in 2009. Previously, they served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine & Cardiology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine from 1982 to 1984, where they directed the CCU and conducted research in cardiovascular medicine. Crafford worked as a Staff Non-Invasive Cardiologist at Hanover Medical Specialists from 1993 to 2008 and was the Director of the New River Valley Heart Clinic from 1984 to 1993, earning additional training in nuclear cardiac imaging and echocardiography. Their educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and fellowship training in Cardiovascular Research at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
