Lonette Genis

Lonette Genis is currently a Cyber Security Officer at PPECB, where they focus on cyber security and compliance as a subject matter expert. With extensive experience in crafting strategies, policies, and frameworks for data protection, they previously served as the Head of Cyber Security & IT Governance at Comair Limited, where they led departmental strategies and audits. Prior to that, Lonette held various roles at Makro South Africa and UCS Solutions, significantly contributing to compliance and risk management efforts. Lonette completed a Management Development Programme at the University of Stellenbosch and has a National Diploma in Office Management and Technology from Tshwane University of Technology.
