Mark Bishop is a Senior Customer Development Chemist at PPG since July 2023, with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. Prior to PPG, Mark served as a Project Leader and Global Application Manager in Energy Solutions at Synthomer from April 2020 to March 2023, and held the position of Global Application Manager at OMNOVA Solutions from January 2007 to April 2020. Mark began a professional journey in the academic field at The University of Akron, where responsibilities included teaching assistance, lab support for undergraduate courses, and research on inelastic electron tunneling spectroscopy. Mark holds a B.S. in Physics with minors in Chemistry and Applied Mathematics from The University of Akron.
