James Wicklund

James Wicklund is an accomplished analyst and observer in the energy sector with extensive experience spanning over four decades. They served as Managing Director at Stephens Inc from 2019 to 2022 and transitioned to an Energy Consultant role with Wicklund & Associates in 2022. With a rich background in geophysics, reservoir engineering, and operations, they have worked globally in various capacities, including as a principal at Carlson Capital and in senior roles at Credit Suisse and Banc of America Securities. Currently, James is the Managing Director for Business Development and Corporate Communications at PPHB and remains active in industry advisory roles and writing. They hold a BBA in Finance and Physics from Southern Methodist University and continue their education at Tulane University.
