Darren Thacker

Darren Thacker has over three decades of experience in the hotel and hospitality industry, currently serving as Vice President of Revenue Optimisation & Technology at PPHE Hotel Group since January 2010. Previous roles at PPHE include Director of Revenue, Digital Marketing & Analytics, and Regional Director of Revenue for the UK. Prior to this, Darren held various positions including Revenue Manager and Assistant Area Revenue Manager at Guoman & Thistle Hotels from June 2000 to December 2009. Earlier career experiences include roles such as Banqueting Operations Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager at Mount Nelson Hotel from December 1994 to May 1999, and In-House Management Trainee at Protea Hotels from February 1991 to December 1994.
