Leander Staal

Leander Staal is an experienced professional in the hospitality industry, currently serving as an F&B Cost Controller at PPHE Hotel Group since February 2024. Prior experience includes an Operations Management Internship at The Bushcamp Co, where Leander effectively contributed across various departments in a challenging environment within South Luangwa National Park. As a Bar Supervisor at Kruisherenhotel Maastricht, leadership was demonstrated in cocktail creation and team management. Earlier roles include Barkeeper at Althoff Hotel am Schlossgarten, where Leander participated in significant banquet operations, and an all-round F&B intern at AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa. The early career began with an internship at THE LOFTS BOUTIQUE HOTEL, providing foundational knowledge of hotel operations, supplemented by experience as a waiter at Mauve Restaurant and Bar.
