Timothy McWhinney, CFP CIM, currently serves as the Regional Vice President, Sales for Ontario at PPI since July 2024 and has been the Assistant Vice-President of Distribution Learning & Development at Canada Life since April 2021. Prior experience includes key roles at Freedom 55 Financial from March 2011 to April 2021, such as Regional Development Manager, Director of Advisor Experience, Director of Business Development, and Advisor. Timothy also worked at Interac Association as a Specialist in Fraud Operations from October 2007 to February 2011, and briefly as a Customer Service Representative at CIBC in June 2007. Timothy holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Bilingual Business Economics from Glendon Campus of York University, earned between 2005 and 2009, and graduated from William Aberhart High School from 2002 to 2005.
