Fiona Lavery

Fiona Lavery is an experienced operations and people management professional currently serving as the Operations and People Director at PPL since March 2025. In addition to this role, Fiona has been a dedicated parent since April 2020, exemplifying multi-tasking, coaching, and mentoring skills. Previously, Fiona held various leadership positions at WaterAid from September 2012 to March 2025, including Global Leadership and Employee Experience Director, where responsibilities included managing a team across multiple countries and overseeing global engagement and employee experience initiatives. Additional roles at WaterAid involved strategic people management and business partnering within the organization. Prior to WaterAid, Fiona worked in human resources at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and several NHS trusts, beginning a career in HR with an educational background that includes a Master's degree in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations from Alliance Manchester Business School and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Liverpool.
