Nigel Edwards

Nigel Edwards is a seasoned expert in healthcare policy and research, currently serving as an Independent Consultant and Senior Advisor at PPL while advising the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies. With an extensive career, Nigel held notable positions including Chief Executive Officer at Nuffield Trust, Director at both Central Middlesex Hospital and NHS Confederation, and Senior Fellow at The King's Fund. Nigel's academic achievements include a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford and an MBA from the University of Westminster. Recently, Nigel has also taken on roles as Honorary Visiting Professor at the University of Birmingham and Advisor to the National Association of Primary Care.
