Eric Ullmann

Eric Ullmann has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and enterprise architecture. Eric is currently serving as the Director of Information Security at GEHA Health since October 2023. In this role, they lead a team responsible for incident response, identity and access management, policy, cloud security, and information security architecture. Eric has also played a key role in developing a digital transformation strategy for healthcare innovation.

Prior to this, Eric worked at Fishtech Group as the Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture from June 2019 to November 2020, and as the Director of Enterprise Architecture from January 2016 to June 2019. At Fishtech, they contributed to the development and implementation of architectural strategies.

Before joining Fishtech Group, Eric worked at Optiv Inc as the Principal Enterprise Architect from October 2014 to January 2016, and as a Security Consultant from 2013 to October 2014. Eric provided expertise in enterprise architecture and security consulting.

Eric's work experience also includes positions at NBH Bank, N.A. as an IT Security Manager from October 2012 to July 2013, and as a Security Engineer from September 2011 to October 2012. At NBH Bank, they were responsible for designing and implementing security policies and solutions.

Prior to NBH Bank, Eric worked at DST Systems as a Senior Systems Engineer from September 2010 to September 2011. In this role, they managed a large number of Windows servers and played a key role in security audits and vendor management.

Before entering the corporate sector, Eric served as the owner of a network consultancy firm. From January 2000 to September 2010, they set up and maintained complex medical networks, provided 24/7 network monitoring, and performed Windows administration for multiple networks.

Overall, Eric Ullmann has gained extensive experience in information security, enterprise architecture, and network consultancy throughout their career.

Eric Ullmann holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology from Western Governors University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC) from ISACA and Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) also from ISACA. Eric is also certified in VMware Certified Professional 6 – Network Virtualization from VMware and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services. Furthermore, they possess certifications in ACE from Palo Alto Networks, CCNA and CCNA-Security from Cisco, CICA and CICE from Infoblox, CIW Database Design Specialist from CIW, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², FireEye Certified Systems Engineer from FireEye, Inc., IT Project+ from CompTIA, Microsoft Certified Professional and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist from Microsoft, and Security+ also from CompTIA.
