Hiro Misawa

Hiro Misawa has extensive work experience in the actuarial field. Hiro most recently served as the Director of Actuarial Services at GEHA Health starting in April 2022. Prior to that, Hiro held the position of Vice President at Aon from August 2020 to April 2022. Hiro also worked as a Consulting Actuary at Milliman for over 14 years, from January 2006 to August 2020. Hiro began their career as an Actuarial Analyst at Mutual of Omaha in 2004 and later worked as a Manager at Deloitte Consulting from January 2002 to December 2004.

Hiro Misawa obtained a Master's degree in Statistics from Iowa State University in 1999, as well as a Master's degree in Economics from the same university in the same year. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in International Economics at Aoyama Gakuin University in 1996. In addition to their formal education, Hiro Misawa holds certifications as a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
