John Dean

Director - Technology Infrastructure Operations at GEHA Health

John Dean has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. John began their career in 1994 as a Senior Network Engineer at Gateway, where they provided support for network and server operations. In 2000, they joined lock\line as a Senior Manager of Information Technology, where they were responsible for technical support and the design and maintenance of data centers and call centers. John then moved on to DST - lock\line, Inc. as a Senior Software Development Manager, overseeing various technical support teams and leading a production support analyst team. In 2006, they joined Asurion as Director of Information Technology, where they managed global IT operations and built and mentored technical teams supporting a large number of end users. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as a Principal Consultant at their own consulting firm, John Dean Consulting. Currently, they are working at GEHA Health as the Director of Technology Infrastructure Operations, responsible for the support and architecture of enterprise applications and systems.

John Dean attended the University of Central Missouri from 1991 to 1994, where they studied Management Information Systems and Services. John also obtained additional certifications, including Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2022 and ITIL Foundation in 2015.
