Mark Longhurst

Mark Longhurst is an experienced risk and compliance professional currently serving as the Head of Risk and Compliance at PPS Mutual since July 2023. Prior to this role, Mark held the position of Executive Manager, Risk and Compliance at TAL Australia, where support was provided during the transition of the Life Insurance business from Westpac. Mark's career includes significant leadership roles at Westpac Group, AMP, CommInsure, Commonwealth Bank, National Australia Bank, and Macquarie Group, focusing on risk management, compliance, and governance in the financial services sector. Mark has a strong background in operational risk management and has expertise in implementing governance and compliance systems such as IBM OpenPages and Cornerstone OnDemand. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Pure Mathematics from the University of Sydney.
