Istvan Halasz

Istvan Halasz is a Principal Chemist and Special Analytical Group Supervisor at PQ Corporation in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. They graduated with a Master’s degree in Physics and Chemistry from Debrecen University and obtained a Ph.D. in Physical and Organic Chemistry from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Istvan's extensive research and industrial experience include work in petrochemical process development, catalysis, and characterizations of various materials. They have contributed significantly to the field, co-authoring around 125 papers and holding over 100 international conference presentations. Istvan has also served as past president of the North-East Corridor Zeolite Association and is an active member of several professional organizations.
