Michael Chan

Michael Chan is a senior executive with extensive experience in the specialty chemicals industry, currently serving as President, Americas and Strategic Partnerships at PQ Corporation, where they lead P&L responsibility for the Americas’ Silicates business. They previously held roles such as Vice President & General Manager at PQ Corporation and Global Operations Director at W. R. Grace & Co., consistently driving operational excellence and business transformation across numerous manufacturing sites globally. Michael's education includes an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Marketing from Babson College and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Additionally, they are a member of the Board of Directors for SIDESA JV, a joint venture between PQ and Solvay.
