Peter Schouren

Peter Schouren is an experienced professional with a long tenure at PQ Corporation since April 1997, currently serving as the Director of Manufacturing Technology, Capital Planning and Engineering. In this role, Peter oversees all process engineering and manufacturing technology activities related to silicate, silica, and zeolite powders within Performance Chemicals. Previous positions at PQ Corporation include Global Manufacturing Technology Manager for Silicate, Silica, and Zeolite powders, Process Manager for Silicates & Zeolites across multiple regions, Technical Manager, R&D Manager, and Process Engineer at the Eijsden site, as well as Project Manager at the Joliet site. Peter also served as an elected member of the Limburgs Parlement from April 2004 to March 2007, focusing on economy, energy, and participations. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Twente. Prior experience includes a role as Project Manager for Measurement and Control at Unilever from June 1994 to March 1997.
