Chris Henderson

Chris Henderson is a Senior Policy and Practice Adviser in Agriculture at Practical Action, a position held since 2012. They previously worked as an Agriculture Teacher at VSO from 1982 to 1984, and served as a Rural Livelihoods Adviser at DFID from 1998 to 2002, where they established a country office in Namibia. Chris has also held roles such as Team Leader for the 'NAO Support Programme' at the National Planning Commission in Nigeria and Rural Development Adviser with the European Commission. They hold a BSc Hons in Animal Sciences from The University of Edinburgh and an MSc in Tropical Horticulture & Crop Science from the University of London.
