Kathryn Beale

Kathryn Beale is an experienced fundraising and development professional with a strong background in managing high-value relationships and securing significant grants. Currently serving as the Senior Partnerships & Philanthropy Officer at Practical Action since April 2022, Kathryn oversees a portfolio of major donors, Trusts, and Foundations. Previously, Kathryn held the role of Grants Manager at the Swindon Therapy Centre for Multiple Sclerosis and was Head of Development at Arvon, where a fundraising strategy generated approximately £300,000 annually. Other notable positions include Campaign Manager at LAMDA, Development Officer at The Watermill Theatre, and various roles in theatre including Project Coordinator and Playwright. Kathryn holds a BA in English Literature from the University of York and an MA in Theatre & Development Studies from the University of Leeds.
