Tripp Micou's work experience includes founding and serving as CEO of Practical Computer Applications, Inc. since February 1992. Prior to that, they worked as a Release Engineer at Digital Equipment BCFI AB from June 1987 to December 1987. Tripp also worked as a Junior Engineer at Hughes Aircraft Company from June 1984 to May 1987.

Tripp Micou completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 1980 to 1985. Afterward, they pursued further education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they obtained their Master of Science degree in Engineering. This academic journey took place from 1984 to 1989.
