Bashar Wali has extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Bashar is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Practice Hospitality and This Assembly since 2020. Bashar also serves as the Chair of TIGER 21, a peer learning community focused on wealth preservation and investment acumen. In 1992, Wali founded Levant Hotel Holdings, where they served as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer. Bashar later joined Provenance Hotels as a Partner and President, overseeing the development and management of independent hotels. Prior to that, Wali held the position of Vice President at Grand Heritage Hotel Group, known for its luxury properties. Bashar started their career at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. as a General Manager.

Bashar Wali obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Johnson & Wales University. Additionally, they earned a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) certification from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute in May 1997.
