Mark Friend

Mark Friend has 25 years of experience in various nursing roles, including management, advanced practice, and infection prevention and control. Mark was the HIV Manager at Whittal Street Clinic and has held significant positions such as the Head of Infection Prevention and Control Secondary Care Services at Practice Plus Group. In addition to these roles, Mark has served as the Governance and Quality Lead and Safeguarding Lead at Care UK, while also providing education and training to healthcare staff. Mark's current responsibilities focus on ensuring compliance with infection control standards across multiple healthcare settings to protect patients, visitors, and staff.
