Samir Kothari has had a long and distinguished career in the technology industry. Samir began their career in 1981 as a Senior Process Engineer at Hoffman La Roche. In 1984, they moved to Procter and Gamble Inc. where they held the role of Computer Systems Manager. In this role, they designed and implemented computer-based automation systems resulting in $900,000 annual fuel savings. Samir then moved to Dentisoft Inc. in 1994, where they served as President and CEO. Samir was the original creator and developer of Dentisoft practice management software for general dentists and developed the first web-based practice management system for dentists. In 2000, they joined Dentalxchange Inc. as V.P. Practice Management Group. Finally, in 2002, they became President and CEO of Practice-Web Inc.
Samir Kothari obtained a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from M. Sayajirao University, India in 1976. Samir then went on to receive an MSChE in Chemical Engineering in 1978.
