Rohat Kaya

Rohat Kaya has a strong background in software development and management, with experience in various roles and industries. Rohat is currently the VP of Engineering at Practicus AI, a position they have held since 2021. Previously, they worked at Hürriyet Emlak as the Senior Engineering Manager and Head of Delivery, leading software development teams in transforming legacy systems to a microservices environment. Before that, they served as a Technical Lead at Hürriyet Emlak and Trendyol Group, where they led talented software engineering teams and contributed to the development of various technologies such as Java, Spring, Couchbase, RabbitMQ, and more. Prior to that, Rohat worked at Güven Rehberi Bilgi Teknolojileri A.Ş. as a Partner and Software Development Manager, responsible for the entire software development process. Rohat also founded Rakun Teknoloji, where they managed a team and developed enterprise tablet applications. Earlier in their career, Rohat held positions at Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri A.S. as a Senior Business Analyst, managing enterprise portals and applications, and at Turkcell Teknoloji as a Senior Software Engineer, developing Sharepoint Portals and .NET applications. Rohat began their career as a Software Engineer at VeriPark.

Rohat Kaya attended Yildiz Technical University from 1997 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering. Prior to this, Rohat Kaya studied at Kars Anadolu Lisesi from 1990 to 1997, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
